which has generally dominated it for a century and a half. I always regarded as having a moderately high level of public propriety albeit somewhat stodgy. Although I'm pretty certain that today there are some characters who would try for the big score like the OH guys if they got a chance and thought they'd get away with it.
But in my naivete', I always marveled at places like LA where they'd delight in electing outright ***** like Edwin Edwards and, I guess, justify it by saying, "yeah, but they're all ***** and he's more fun."
