President Donald Trump on Wednesday denied reports that he retreated to the underground bunker beneath the White House last Friday night as protests outside the executive mansion escalated, insisting he only visited the secure facility for a brief time during the day for the purposes of “inspection.”

“It was a false report. I wasn’t down. I went down during the day, and I was there for a tiny, little, short period of time. And it was much more for an inspection. There was no problem during the day,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade on his Fox News radio show.

The president went on to argue that any “problems” posed by the protesters would have come “during the night, not during the day,” and said that although he “read about it like a big thing, it was never a problem. We never had a problem. Nobody ever came close to giving us a problem.”

Trump also maintained that the Secret Service did not order him to the bunker, but merely “said it would be a good time to go down, take a look, because maybe some time you’re going to need it.” Since assuming office in early 2017, Trump has entered the bunker roughly “2½” times, he said.

I'd insist that the assailant be charged with assault and attempted murder, no matter if it was done to Trump, Pelosi or the cow that jumped over the moon.

Considering there were witnesses to the attack, it should be an open and shut case on that aspect.

If Paul Pelosi`s assailant was some regular, shall we say "Midnight cowboy"  and maybe things were getting too weird and a hammer got involved, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time with these freaks.  Since it`s Pelosi`s house, whatever Pelosi says he said will be believed and he will be locked away in a deep hole, probably be "Epsteined" shortly after.  The Video with be stuck away with Roswell footage and the Ark of the Covenant.

Why didn't you make those demands of the people who were ILLEGALLY protesting outside of the homes of supreme court justices even after one of them plotted to kill Kavanaugh. Smells like a class A Hypocrat.
