Had you bothered to read the site I posted, the old testament which is also sacred to Jews and in part to Muslims records actions, you would have seen actions recorded, not advocated. Also many of these actions are condemned. Not once in the old or new testament do you find conduct encouraged as in the Quran.

I'm against stupid choices when it comes to human life. If somebody cant possibly raise a child, they should be using one or more of the MANY sources of birth control, or not having sex at all.

20 ; 'just today' millions of muslims and millions of christians will lead a peaceful quiet life but like example of bad laws just recenlty Uganda was going to imprison gay people for life, encouraged by missionaries from christian churches in the USA.

When world opion pressured them the authorities said it was better than killing them.

Christians 3020 just doing what the good book tells them unlike most christians who know that persecuting gay people is wrong and they ignore that part of the book.

So too do most muslims ignore the parts of their book that are wrong.

Fortunatley most people's code for living a good life is better than their religious teachings.

It is of course helped when the employees of the religion ignore those bad parts too and stress the good parts then people find it easier to pick good rules to follow.

You need to reread your good book farmguy.

the god quoted in there sends the Israelites out several times to wreck havoac on others.

Indeed commands them to kill everyone except the virgins and young girls who they can keep.

There are even instructions to make sure that any fetus in a woman is killed too (original abortion maybe)

Then there are all the instructions on who 'shall be stoned' for all sorts of things like children being unrully and of course anyone having sex outside certain prescribed situations and witches etc.

You have a lot of reading to catch up on.

Probably your employees skip those parts because they know they are wrong, just as you do and that is why you try to find excuses to omit them from your knowledge.

BTW one other thing that your bible that you will never find is even a hint that owing another person is wrong.

It does have instructions on who you can own and how badly you can treat them as well as instructions for slaves to obey their masters but never once does it say what you, no doubt, and most people now know is wrong to own another person even if their skin is a different colour.

If you are goinf to claim to believe in that book and claim to follow its teachings then at least know what is in it and the FACT that you do not follow all of its commands and teachings AND that some of the things in it are horrific commands.

It behooves us to make sure everyone knows how to prevent unnecessary pregnancies and have the means to do it available.

And it also is only proper that when a pregnancy goes wrong an abortion is available too and the woman should have the right to make that decision not a bunch of men in a legislature far removed from the reality of the situation.

What we have shown is there are bad people in all religions, societies and regions.

All religions and societies also have a majority of their people who are peaceful good people.

Labelling whole groups because of something a few did is not fair, kind or helpful.

Recently in Quebec a man who wanted to keep his society pure in his eyes and folllowed right wing radicals and including biggotted leaders of political parties took a gun and murdered several men while they were praying in their mosque.

The saddest part of that is biggotted peole call for throwing out all the muslims......because??????? Maybe because they were available for the murderer to shoot and if they were not there the murderer would not have had anyone to shoot?????

These people bad mouthing 'those others' are the real guilty parties. Their biggotted rehtoric led a suspetable young mind into evil murderous actions. They will never admit it BUT they are as guilty as the shooter.

No human deserves to be talked of the way some do, even on this site.

Think of what some on this site say and what it might have led others to do with biggotted and  discriminatory words.
