The Founding Fathers or the fathers of confederation?

Re: Intent

I'll not be preached to about our founding fathers by some one from a country that elected a leader who's family was close personal family friends with murderous dictator fidel castro. Elected twice. And also elected his daddy. Or step daddy, what ever the case might be. Need a DNA test for that one.

Re: Intent

If the Founding Fathers intended us to have black slaves in perpetuity why did the Bill of Rights allow for it`s abolishment through the 13th Amendment?

Re: Founding fathers, 13th Amendment, perfect argument.

If the 13th Amendment could abolish slavery and the 21st Amendment could repeal the 18th Amendment then 28th can repeal the 2nd Amendment.

Yep, but not an easy get - remember history and how difficult it was to get enough democrats on board for the 13th.

Never the less we must give Trickdicky a star and smiley face for getting it right.

Re: Intent

“Founders” 13th Amendment?

Do you know how long after the “founding” the 13thcame?

Are you aware of the process involving the democracy in amending?
