Interesting interview

On the CBC's The National newscast an interview with Malcolm Gladwell an English born Canadian writer for the New Yorker.

No one will likely agree with everything he says but several points sure seem to ring true from those of us looking in from outside your borders and lots of you will not let yourselves agree with him even though you know deep in your thought he is correct.

Gladwell says some of Trump's appeal comes from a sense of "unfiltered" authenticity with voters, but points to Trump's privileged upbringing as evidence that he is a bona fide member of the elite.

"One guy is the child of privilege who grew up in a multi-million-dollar household, and has every advantage handed to him on a silver platter," he said. "The other is a woman who came from the most ordinary of circumstances."

"Who is the elite in this battle?"

Re: Interesting interview

Did you read or listen to the interview?

Maybe it would answer your question but of course your question has nothing to do wth the interview.

Re: Interesting interview

Let me help you out. They gave there money to poor little broke Hillary and her redneck husband. They want nothing to do with the privileged Trump.

Re: Interesting interview

What does any of that have to do with the link I posted?

Your problem 3020 is you just believe something and then everything you loook at becomes related to your belief.

You need to open your mind to other things and stick to what is being discussed not just your beliefs.

Look at the real world and opposing ideas.

Re: Interesting interview

So you say, a new definition I guess or just an interpretation of what the word means to you.

And what do you think of his observation about good things allowing people to then do bad things?
