The truth of the matter is just like warming cycles, CO2 is always present BUT some ofman's activities (burning more and more fossil fuel, burning hundreds of thousands of acres of rain forest) creates much more CO2 thus it is called "MAN'S CONTRIBUTION" NOT THAT MAN CAUSES IT THUS MAN-MADE!!
