Iowa Youth Straw Ballot

The Iowa Youth Straw Ballot is a tradition in Iowa, each election cycle. It teaches young Iowans about the voting process.

The results have been reported from yesterday.

President Trump got 53% of the vote.

China Joe got 33% of the vote.

Four years ago, this youth ballot also accurately predicted the outcome.

In the Iowa Senate race, Sen. Ernst got 52% of the vote, and Greenfraud got 38% of the vote.

This makes sense, because the school children have a lot of “Trump” face masks on their faces. 🇺🇸🤠👍

My son said an interesting thing before school the other day that may play in that dynamic.  I was taking him to school, he asked who I thought would win.  I said I couldn't guess.  He said he hoped it wasn't biden cause he would make them wear masks for 4 more years.

Re: Iowa Youth Straw Ballot

Trump and Biden have painted starkly different visions for the future of the USA.

Trump's America is one of optimism and grit, akin to the WW II generation that faced much steeper odds for survival and persevered.

Biden talks of a dark winter and despair....

Which one do you think America wants to embrace?

The best part of this, is that the youth are able to resist the leftists indoctrination efforts and that if we can clean out the dark forces in education, we will have a bright future for our Republic.

I wish that extended to colleges and universities.

My children have all been lost to the the SJW junk and the global warming crud.

They grew up poor and on  a farm.  They didn't have all the video games, fast cars, or trendy clothes.  They worked though high school and college.

They saw women and minorities get special treatment in college but no white men.  (for example women and minorities got free tutors but not white men) They were witness to multiple hypocrisies regrading SJW but for some reason it never registered.  They all worked and worked and graduated. No free ride.

I'm sure they will vote for Biden.  It's ironic that their inheritance will be taken from them by the people they support, it's ironic that their children will suffer and become second class citizens because they are male and white.

Re: Iowa Youth Straw Ballot

All the old hardline conservatives from my early years always contended that things always turned out best for everybody concerned when each generation made their own money.

Not sure how whatever it was that inclined them to say that fits into your narrative.

I want to express my deepest condolences. My daughter is like that. She spent only two years in college, but it was enough to destroy her common sense. I made sure my son never went to a liberal arts school. He went into the governor’s apprenticeship program to learn the HVAC trade. No tuition and no indoctrination. Makes great money.

He is as conservative, maybe more so, than I.

He will be the sole controller of my assets, which is in the prime development area between Indianola and Des Moines. My daughter will find out just how costly her views will be for her. Harsh, yes. Smart, also yes.

If I were you, I would find someone else to carry on the legacy.

Craig, I`ve always been impressed with these "Gen Z" kids, they are much smarter than millennials.  If they can harness their intelligence with wisdom, it is hope for the future.

Re: Iowa Youth Straw Ballot

As a parent of a student I get bombarded with allot of university communications and my daughter shares a great deal of what she gets from the U.   Honestly, you would think that race and diversity is the only issue that exists in the world today.  It's the only thing they talk about.

We need to pray for and watch over our children. There are massive amounts of evil people out to ensnare them.

This straw poll is a good reflection of how their parents are going to vote.
