Iowa caucuses

The media has said `Iowa rarely picks the nominee and only picks the president 50% of the time`  Well, when you have to weed through 7 candidates, a state that`s first in the nation it would be unhealthy for the process and a little fishy if we always did pick the eventual nominee.  Iowa is the first aggregate filter a 3" screen, states after "Super Tuesday" have a easy time picking the nominee.  Iowa is criticized for being too White, too Conservate....Hello anyone, Barak Hussein Obama??? The most socialistic president of the United States got his official okey-dokey for the state of Iowa.  Here`s what I`m wrestling with today.  I like Paul, Fact: he will not become President, the people haven`t suffered enough to give him the kind of support needed to win, even a President Paul wouldn`t get the support needed to fix things. Conclusion, perhaps a vote for Paul would be wasted.  In truth any of the 7 Republicans are unquestionably better than 0bama.  Perhaps Iowa should give a "Mit Romney" a giant nomination send-off.  Romney isn`t and won`t be perfect, but he`s a nice guy and Dems and Indies will support him.  Romney has past mistakes, but if he found the truth now he can give us a softer landing in the coming crash.  I can`t scream this enough folks, if you let 0bama win IT`S ALL OVER! put a fork in us, we will be in hell.

Re: Iowa caucuses

Ba, I don't think Romney can beat Obama. Conservatives stay home. Even if he does win he is a big government liberal and will only expand the federal debt which is the biggest threat to our survival as a country. If I were in your shoes I would vote for Paul. If Romney is the nominee I will not vote for him. I will still vote to try to get a conservative congress in hopes no matter who is president may be they will actually CUT the size of our government. Don't throw in the towel before the election process is even started.

Re: Iowa caucuses

Hoping a leopard changes his spots is a poor stragtegy. Its my opinion that Romney can not beat Obama.  There is very little differentiation there.  No independants are going to care about a Romney campaign.  No conservatives are going to buy him as a conservative.

IMO Paul is the only candidate that can beat Obama.  Obama has no answers to Paul's critic of his administration.

Re: Iowa caucuses

Santorum, has moved up sounds like Craig likes him as does a prominent Pastor from NWIA.  That Pastor was on the Mickleson show saying that he liked Paul`s financial postitions, but questioned Paul`s poking fun at Santorum and Bachmann`s morality on the Leno show also his lackadaisical approach to Iran.  Now that isn`t a TKO for my Paul support but it got me wobbly.  The day after the Ia caucus Bachmann and Perry will probably be out.  I`m sad to say 3020, to pull away enough votes from 0bama I don`t know if a Conservative can be elected in this day and age.  I probably will vote for Paul to send a message if nothing else.

Re: Iowa caucuses

Ba, the independents will be pulled towards a fiscal conservative. They have fled Obama by the truck load. They will not vote for a big spending candidate that came up with the model for Obama care. The issue is going to be it's the spending stupid. Everything else will take a back seat.

Re: Iowa caucuses

Well we know 0bama can not run on his record Smiley LOL  Paul is the only one running that will not get us into a war with Iran and that is including 0bama, that should be a plus for a honest liberal.  See, Sam, Paul will have some trouble with the blue-blood country club Rockefeller Republicans.  If RP wins the nomination you may see the Newt crowd actually campaigning for 0bama "...because as bad as 0bama is he has a better foreign policy...".  Some people are so afraid of  (false flag) terrorism that you could see neo-cons jump ship. It`s a shame, I know, but as Rush has said `some blue blood Repubs don`t care if 0bama wins, the would rather take back the Senate, that`s where the money is`.  I see 0bama signed the Detention bill after saying he wouldn`t, he signed it in total, we are now officially in a war zone. Smiley Sad

Re: Iowa caucuses are a joke

Isn't it comical? You guys have been listening to all this RAH,RAH, Republican propoganda, and instantly believe "it's in the bag?" Whether you want to believe it or not, the President has a powerful message, that the gang of clowns you have to pick from, can never over come. You know, and I know it.

You sure do like to read your faerie tale stories and then post them up here for everyone to laugh at.  George Soros and his corporate plans to run America would be the big joke if it was not so diabolical.

I do agree with you about the Iowa Caucus being a big Joke..... it is the event that gave us Barack Huein Obama to suffer through.  John Edwards should have been the nominee, because by now, we would have found out about his "activities" on the side, and he would have been toast by now.

I wonder when the liberals are going to dump the "turd" and nominate someone else to run this fall?

Re: Iowa caucuses

IMO, we need to vote for who we think is best.  Voting for the 'lesser of two evils', is still voting for an evil.

If you vote for a watered-down version of what you think is best, all you will ever wind up with, is a watered down version of what you wanted.

My history teacher told me, the feel a while back was the country wanted anyone but Nixon, or his party, and we got Carter.

Just recently, I got the feel that it was anyone but Bush, or the likes of him, and we got Obama.

Was it really a vote FOR Carter or Obama, or just a vote AGAINST what we had before?  Is that the direction we really want to go?
