This militarism of our police is done by Obama.  He is giving all this surplus military junk to the police and he is the one that keeps pounding on the bogus message that they need full auto guns to keep up with the criminals.  The Democrats are creating a false picture of crime in America and creating a false premise that it's on the increase. 

At some point in the near future all these weapons and equipment are going to need repair or replacement and the cost to local communities for all these play things is going to be enormous.   Money that should be spent on our failing electric grid and our crumbling bridges will be wasted on more overkill equipment for Podunk police forces.
