When the Texicans opted to defend the alamo in spite of terrific odds, that was a vote for suicide. What did they accomplish? Nothing!

Re: Jesse Ventura anecdote

There are only two that got into trouble and they did that by their ow actions.  They nor anyone else were MISTREATED!  When you sign a contract, do you just arbitrarily decide to no longer abide by the contents of the contract?

Re: Jesse Ventura anecdote

No, one of them didn't.  They set a fire that crossed over to federal land which they were forbidden to do.  They may have been within their rights to set the fire but when they decided to do that, they should have had ample means to control it to make sure it didn't cross over onto Federal land.  Sorry.

Re: Jesse Ventura anecdote

You're proud of the way your government put down that uprising? The government was going to let them get burned out. They set the fire to save their own property. Cost them 5 years.

Re: Jesse Ventura anecdote

How do you know the govt was going to let the fire burn up their home?  You don't and I am neither proud nor upset with the govt over this.
