Re: K. Parker pens obit

I don't know about the whole country as far as the millennials preferences go, but I have it on very good word that at least one of them looked at the suppression of free speech coming from the left , and  "left"  that plantation. Not sure if he is going to be "right", but at least he won't be wrong anymore.

Good man, too....PHD that just walked away.

This whole sheetshow might turn out to be a blessing in disguise....the leftists have blown their cover and their real intents are pretty apparent.

Re: K. Parker pens obit

Hey Red, JMO the problems that we are facing is that we slipped past the goalie and did not have the depression in 1990 that was "scheduled".  The US has had depressions about every 60 years to reset things, Greenspan cheated us out of that reset, wealth became much more concentrated, free money bred immorality.   And now the swamp want a global reset to move forward on a new world order.

No favors were done by cheating the 1990 depression, weak/non-existent recoveries, a dead middle class and a glut of billionaires.

A depression brings families and communities together and strengthen them.  This free money 30 yr free ride we`ve had since 1990, we got into stupid wars, family structure broken down, single mothers with 5 kids each from 8 different sperm donors.  Is it any wonder why Democrats do well in elections???

The Bible talks of a "50 year jubilee" where it`s a reset all debts canceled, every 7th yr the farmland laid idle and such.  If we don`t follow the Bible, then we pay every 60 yrs with a depression, but Greenspan, Yellan, Powell became godlike at the Federal Reserve and cheated by 30 yrs.   Perhaps a major depression will clean clocks out and morality will come out the other end?  Thus far, not nearly enough "pain" has been felt.

Re: Bruce, you're right, "don't bother".

If the "Demented" ones here are any indication, it's already too late for the republican party.  It's like a broke down old cow, the only thing to do is call the knacker truck.

Sam exactly makes the point that Trump GREW the Republican party.  The GOP is not doomed from the point of not growing, it`s "doomed" from the point of not growing rapidly enough...."no second place winners" saying comes to mind.

We tried the John McCain/Mitt Romney route and during their failed campaigns we heard how "racist, sexist, homophobic and unhinged" they were....didn`t Einstein say something about doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is the definition of insanity?

We ran Trump and he won in 2016 and got 8 or so million more votes in 2020 Democrat cheating notwithstanding.  So, Kathleen, make the case why we should band our balls and nominate "John Kasich" in 2024 and how he will win against President Kamala with 20 million amnestied  new Democrat voters?  And even if Covid is in the rearview mirror, I doubt as "successful" mail in ballots were, they won`t go away in `22 or `24.

I would say Dr BA, that yes the gop is on the edge of dead, but the trump electorate is THE dominate one.   No group is as unified and cohesive or has the shear numbers.   Who that electorate will support is not clear yet.  And most importantly how do we eliminate the massive fraud we experienced in 2020.

Hey Dr Sam, let`s say Biden croaks, Heels-up takes the reins the last 2, 3 years and really makes a hot mess that even the biggest liberal apologist can`t explain.  So bad they even have to primary Heels-up as a last ditch effort.  The national debt hits $38 Trillion and Rand Paul wins in 2024.   My question is to anyone is will it have any fix in it, I mean even if the country comes 90% in agreement?  And do we want to put GOP fingerprints on it at that point?

Fun to see that.  Just looked over and it’s 4th from the left on the 2nd shelf from the top.

I would say this, look at all the *****holes cities around the country that if they were nations they would be failed states.  All run by democrats and have been for a long time.   Do the people actually want those same people elected year after year or is it the vote counters that do?    When do you suppose the last time an honest election was held in Detriot?

Re: K. Parker pens obit

Dr Sam, I thought about that a minute and the short answer is "socialism works, it just hasn`t been tried by the right people yet"  is the view that urbanites have.    I know it`s ridiculous and since I have this pen of liberals on here, I try and figure out where these probably suburban Democrats, probably above average in asset ownership are coming from.

They won`t tell me, all I can conclude is like the doctor who asks 600lbs people why they eat 12 Snickers bars for breakfast?  "Mmmpppfff mmmmpppfff Idontknow  Mmmmmpppppfff mmmmpppff" .

I would say they must be happy, but I even doubt that.

You just nailed it Dr. BA. They are not happy. They can't blame themselves or their choices so they blame those who have nothing to do with their misery.

Dr 3020, I don`t understand the liberal`s rage, I swear they`ve gotten more crabby since Biden pilfered the 2020 election.   If I was Jen in Cannon Falls with a motorhome and movie theater, I`d probably want Republicans in to keep the merry go round going a few days longer for the winners of life`s lottery.   And Bruce sittin` in Woodbury watching the snow fall out the window of his condo, no snow to shovel or lawn to mow.   I guess if they have a family obligation to vote Democrat, they should be happy because demographics favor that brand of future politics.  If I wasn`t a Christian, I`d probably be really bummed for my politics.  But, I have a happy reset button, for that I`m thankful   🙂
