Kaepernich and Barr
Both basically valid as far as employer's rights to call the shots within some limits.
ABC/Disney decided it wasn't in their best corporate interest to be associated, as did the NFL owners.
The NFL more of a potential labor rights issue only if the players decide to push it. The owners have to balance the risks and rewards of losing some of their fan base, end of DoD kickbacks and their vast welfare scam with cities and states (could go either way, and remember the keyword "cities").
That as opposed to having the SWFL (slow white football league).

(Kaepernick & Barr
ABC/Disney decided it wasn't in their best corporate interest to be associated, as did the NFL owners.)
Kaepernick opted out of the final year of his contract worth $14.5 million to become an unrestricted free agent as he thought he could get a bigger paying contract; Barr was terminated of her contract.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
Colin Kapernich got better treatment from the NFL than did Tim Tebow.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
Free market capitalism.
Kappernich was a NFL level football player. Tebow was a circus side-show.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
Colin Kappernich WAS an NFL football player until he turned into a bitter circus sideshow. Tim Tebow is a happy minor league baseball player. He is a true roll model for our children.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
I see the worlds original snowflake , Trumplethinskin is whining for an apology from Disney/ABC....
this will make some rw heads explode , but Matthew Dowd hits it right on “ let me make clear the difference between Colin Kaepernick and Roseanne : One is fighting racism and is despised by Trump , the other is facilitating racism and loved by Trump”.
” Roseanne’s network wanted to showcase the average Trump voter.... and that is exactly what they got”. Molly Knight. I’ll add ; on the show and in real life.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
Barr said she hoped that anyone who ate at Chick Fil Lay gets cancer. ABC was just fine with that.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
it now seems clear that the majority of NFL owners would have preferred to find a way to finesse around it. Not necessarily commendable but logical in terms of their self interest.
When Trump seized on it as a way to light up the base he forced their hand.
There's also the long simmering resentment from Trump being blackballed by the NFL owner's club.

Re: Kaepernich and Barr
there's the lawsuit that he won against them concerning the demise of the USFL where he won $1 in damages.
But also the fact that other USFL owners claim that Trump singlehandedly sunk the league and the fact that he'd have been a disaster if he'd gotten inside the tent.
Another big win.
