Klobuchar asked to withdraw?

watched on TV that an African American movement wants the former prosecutor to admit her errors in the trial of a 16 yr old black boy and drop out of the POTUS race.

would a person with career advancement on their mind knowingly keep someone imprisoned just to not put a blemish on her resume?

would she harass a qualified SCOTUS nominee?

Re: Klobuchar asked to withdraw?

Smiley Very Happy   The Democrat tent is too big and free stuff lollygaggers are turning on each other.   I suppose the hogs from different pens ate shinola sandwiches hoping they`d crash the gates together, but too many axes to grind and all want to be boss hog.

Prosecutors are jerks, that`s no secret, they have to be or criminals won`t make it to prison, unfortunately there are too many innocent people in prison for who the price of justice was too steep.  Klobachar and Kamala Harris were young guns wanting to make names for themselves, probably overall doing God`s work, occasionally coloring outside the lines.   Now the ghosts from their own tent are haunting them.

IMO if Klob doesn`t finish in the top 3 in Iowa, she`ll be making an "announcement" the next morning and her supporters will flock to the Buttlover.

Re: Klobuchar asked to withdraw?

whats the over/under on Trump getting over 30 percent of the African American vote this fall? How about Hispanics?

I really will not be surprised at all to see a shock wave when the votes come in.....unless the democrats can get Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock on the ticket instead of what they got, they are not going to get the votes.

I said it....come back in November and tell me how wrong I was.

Baby killers, buttlovers, and/or old white racists are not going to entice people to go out and vote. Well, maybe Kathy Griffin and her ilk, but not decent Americans.

Re: Klobuchar asked to withdraw?

A Iowa woman asked Buttlover `I`m for takin` guns away, lettin` in Mexicans, high taxes and all that stuff you liberals like....but I can not support baby killin`, is there a place for me in the Democrat party?`   Buttman`s reply "Nope, go pound sand" As big as the immoral tent is, they don`t have a small corner they could give this poor pro-life otherwise liberal woman.

https://ktrh.iheart.com/featured/michael-berry/content/2020-01-27-buttigieg-tells-a-pro-life-democra...

During Fox New Town Hall in Iowa, former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg was asked by a pro-life Democrat if he supported a change in the party's language for a more moderate tone.

That woman, Kristen Day, said "I am a proud pro-life Democrat, so do you want the support of pro-life Democrats, Democratic voters? There's about 21 million of us.And, if so, would you support more moderate platform language in the Democratic Party to ensure that the party of diversity and inclusion really does include everybody?"

Buttigieg told her, “well, I respect where you're coming from and I hope to earn your vote, but I'm not going to try to earn your vote by tricking you.I am pro-choice and I believe that a woman ought to be able to make that decision. Here's what I can tell you – I know that the difference in opinion that you and I have is one that we have come by honestly and the best that I can offer – and it may win your vote, if not I understand – the best that I can offer is that if we can't agree on where to draw the line, the next best thing we can do is agree on who should draw the line. And, in my view, it's the woman who's faced with that decision in her own life."

Moderator Chris Wallace jumped in, asking “I'm curious, Kristen, were you satisfied with the mayor's answer?"

She said she was not satisfied with Buttigieg's response, saying “the Democratic platform contains language that basically says that we don't belong, we have no part in the party because it says abortion should be legal up to nine months; the government should pay for it. And there's nothing that says that people that have a diversity of views on this issue should be included in the party."

She reminded Buttigieg that back in 1999 the Democrat Party platform had language that recognized that people have various views on abortion "but we're a big tent party that includes everybody."

Buttigieg said “I support the position of my party that this kind of medical care needs to be available to everyone. And I support the Roe v. Wade framework that holds that early in pregnancy, there are very few restrictions and later in pregnancy, there are very few exceptions. And again, the best I can offer is that we may disagree on that very important issue, and hopefully we'll be able to partner on other issues."

Wallace asked Buttigieg whether anti-abortion Democrats should be asked to look at the party platform as a whole or look for another party.

He said "I've never encountered a politician or frankly another person that I agreed with 100% of the time, even on very important things.I cannot imagine that a decision that a woman confronts is going to ever be better medically or morally because it's being dictated by any government official. And that's just where I am on the issue."

Re: Klobuchar asked to withdraw?

Mayor Pete should have been working for Adolph, and he could have made the argument that the monetary system was stabilized, the trains ran on time, and there was full employment.

Nobody's perfect, right?

Re: Klobuchar asked to withdraw?

In Iowa, Pete the Buttman does the best against President Trump.   So as livid some of these Dems are to defeat Trump, I wouldn`t doubt he wins the Dem caucus in Ioway.  Then Biden, then Bernie.  Then Tuesday morn, a lot of tearful press conferences.
