Kucinich wants to take the printing press away from the banksters

Government should not be borrowing and paying interest to the fed. That is a function of government and not a personal toy of the fed governors.

Ralph Nader is activity seeking a challenger to Barack OBama in the democratic primaries. He will probably annoint himself but I do wish someone would come forward. A Russ Feingold a Bernie Sanders, or Dennis Kucinich. Perhaps a Ted Kennedy there is one ut there.

Closest thing we've  probably got just announced that she is running for the Senate from Massachusetts.

If you didn't see it go to the Scarboro (Morning Joe) site and catch her interview from yesterday morning.

Rush tore apart that crazy woman`s logic point by point.  That danged fool actually believes that all wealth originates from the government.  As Rush pointed out, maybe during Roman times when Romans conquered and enslaved nations for wealth.  This mentally challenged woman is an example of the ....no other way to say it ...communists, that make up the Obama administration.

Wealth does flow from social organization.

Until recently that meant that it flowed upwards to the king., and from there on down  to the nobles, the knights, knaves and serfs in proportion to their importance in maintaining the wealth and power of the crown. Or in a more modern example, in the FSU it flowed to whomever could organize former police and intelligence thugs into a force that could seize a valuable piece of the crumbling empire.

The question here really seems to be whether corporations should enjoy more power in organizing society than government.

Seems moot, really. Given that they won. Got 5 justices on the supreme court who "believe" so, got a propaganda arm that emotionally ties their support to middle America white folk and got a massive domestic security force to insure against social unrest.

Game over. But I'm going to send Liz a check anyway.

You might ask her why with over a trillion in deficit stimulus do we still have broken bridges?

Bernie Sanders, the socialist?  It would be great if that's the candidate the Democrats could come up with to challenge their current loser.

Re: Yes...that one

In Elizabeth Warren's world the only reason this country is great is because of big government and she wants to grow it. Sorry Elizabeth, there is no more money. Look to Europe to see what big governments do for their populous. She is a Paul Krugman want a be.

Because a good chunk of it went to tax cuts. The funds to rebuild and replace roads and bridges would amount to several trillion.
