Kudos to Hillary Clinton

She gave a decent consolation speech and I wish her peace in her retirement.  I think she really does have bad health problems and I doubt if she will give us anymore grief.  Karma has a way of straightening alot of these things out.

Here is her really good speech:

Re: Kudos to Hillary Clinton

I have no idea what WWTS stands for.  But I`m under no illusion that the Democrats or Hillary have 'found Jesus" and will now cooperate with deporting and building a wall and such.  I`m just saying that a beaten eldery woman, spoke some nice words and she probably isn`t a serious threat anymore, so Trump and the rest of the GOP should just conveniently forget about her and let her go peacefully into the night and if she`s smart she will take advantage of this easy out and write her book and in a couple years hawk it on the Ellen Show.

Re: Kudos to Hillary Clinton

The Democrat party has become too diverse and too big of tent.  I mean there is absolutely no room for a pro-lifer or a NRA member and believe it or not a few would-be Democrats aren`t thrilled that over half their income goes to taxes...something about making a dollar and giving 58¢ of it to the federal, state and local governments and sitting there with 42 pennies in their hand.

I would say forget about guncontrol, you guys did alright and built this dynasty that`s now crumbling.  After Bill Clinton learned a lesson after the Brady Bill disaster...but "not letting a crisis go to waste" after a school shooting, then the stupid cries for "meeeeeaningful guncontrol" that gets alot of good people really mad and it`s a vote loser.

And on the big hot button issue of immigration to just shut down and attempt to shame opponents of amnesty with "we aren`t that kind of people", I think alot of Democrats aren`t thrilled with giving their country away to foreigners.

And trade, people actually want to work and rather not be on welfare, Bill Clinton signed NAFTA and that lost living wage jobs.  Clinton must`ve was trying to forge a coalition with Wallstreet gone are the Richard Gepharts and Sam Nuns

Re: Kudos to Hillary Clinton

BA; you are being very misleading about NAFTA

Check your history

https://www.britannica.com/event/North-American-Free-Trade-Agreement

A Canadian-U.S. free-trade agreement was concluded in 1988, and NAFTA basically extended that agreement’s provisions to Mexico. NAFTA was negotiated by the administrations of U.S. Pres. George H.W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, and Mexican Pres. Carlos Salinas de Gortari. Preliminary agreement on the pact was reached in August 1992, and it was signed by the three leaders on December 17. NAFTA was ratified by the three countries’ national legislatures in 1993 and went into effect on January 1, 1994.

Yes I know you said signed but that is a minor point trying to blame some one else for what YOU do not like while it was the Republicans that negotiated it and that is where the 'blame' for it should land.

Now if you look critically at the numbers it is hard to say that overall the US lost jobs because of NAFTA because your unemployment declined from the time of NAFTA begining lowering your % unemployed and increasing the number of jobs year over year for quite a few years.

The result of more trade.

yes some people lost jobs but more were hired, Some people had to change jobs but the number of jobs increased not decreased.

As a side note our daughter took a cuple days holidays and when we visited with her yesterday she was on the phone for quite some time as a trick from Mexico was delayed at the US border and instead of crossing last Friday did not get clearance until Sunday night so it was not going to deliver the cargo to the Michigan plant until Friday of this week and the parts the Michogan plant would make from them would not get to the Ontario plant to complete the assembly ready for the car plant to put their cars together.

They were scrapping out bins and scrambling to get enough product to the car plant to keep it going.

That is how NAFTA works with jobs in all 3 countries.

+ 1

and the repub majority were pushing hard for TPP.

And the FB, NCGA, PPC etc.

And they were all for assault weapons to get it done.
