Re: Kurt. Some facts about your utilities.

This clearly demonstrates the stupidity of your essential farmers. Some working two jobs to survive at the same time denying a worker of a job.  All because de fuhrer is mentally challenged. Have you no economic sense at all?

Why America's tariff-hit farmers still support Trump http://va.topbuzz.com/s/NbYsww

"This clearly demonstrates the stupidity of your essential farmers." Looks like you are following in Hillary's foots steps. If conservative called your group stupid they would be banned from this site!

Just goes to show how you and some others think they are special and above the same rules that apply to the rest of us.

I am not special in any form  I call it as I see it. It is absurd to think I am given special privilege.

My point is your farmers voted him in but now he is sending them broke.  But what do they do?

Firstly, they have said they will vote for him again, like you will. Secondly, they are so hypocritical with their total opposition to anything resembling socialism, they now take the $32 billion trump has allocated to them as compensation.  Now the American taxpayer has to foot the bill.  That is socialism but don’t say anything will we?  We don’t want any hypocrisy mentioned do we?

OK. Stupid was not my best choice of words. I apologise unreservedly.

But what would you call their actions? It is not that of an intelligent person.  I believe it is blind faith to a republican movement. It appears they would rather go broke under a republican than prosper under a democrat. Bearing in mind they are so highly geared with debt and depend on export markets, the last thing they need is a power play by trump to make them go bankrupt.  I am beginning to think my original description wasn’t  that far wrong.

The more I think about it boris the more I think the farm bill with all those $$ going to a few farmers is not really socialism, it is greed!  True socialism would see the payments given to everyone, like healthcare that most countries have.

Re: Kurt. Some facts about your utilities.

As my father and his father before him, I look to the future.  I also look at history in the past.

It's my job to create and keep a world in which future generations are free and have an opportunity to do better.  If in the mean time I suffer to some degree, so be it.

I do not vote only for self interest.

And I don't believe there were enough farmers voting to install President Trump in office.  It appears there were many others that supported the concept of liberty and freedom.  I am aware that Mrs. Clinton was the embodiment of many things that you believe, open borders, limits on wealth for the middle class, government run business, government health care run by the same competent people that created a $20,000,000,000,000 debt and who run the post office.

I don't believe that agriculture should always be the go to whipping boy by presidents who use it as a foreign policy tool.  Jimmy Carter was the first in recent history, and if you are going to use agriculture as a foreign policy tool you need to pay for that use.

Re: Kurt. Some facts about your utilities.

Is anyone making a point that corn would be +$5 and Beans +$11 had Hilary won?  If so, I`d be interested in their line of reasoning.

Beans went to $14 and corn to $8 in 2010ish because oil was $150 and "peak oil! peak oil!".  Inflation fund (who are always and only long) pushed gold to $2000 as well as other commodities to all time high prices.

However, the record deficits and 0% fed funds rates and "peak oil" did not result in runaway inflation as was the inflation funds` wager.   Couple that with 5 years of unprecedented above trendline yields all over the world and the effects of "ploughing up golf courses" and rain forests from $8 corn fever and that resulted in bearish carryover and stocks to use ratios.   Supply and demand, more acres and good yields the prices come down regardless who`s in the White House.

So yes, if you want to credit the rooster crowing causing the Sun to rise in the east or if you blame the Sun rising making the rooster crow all depends on what you see when shown the inkblots.

Re: Kurt. Some facts about your utilities.

Socialism is greed. It is a way for the rich socialist to transfer wealth to themselves at the expense of the peasants. The farm program is the perfect example. The rich farmers voted themselves a pay hike at the expense of the young beginners. They stand little chance to compete in the rigged system where the rich are paid 100s of 1,000s of dollars while they can expect a scant few 1,000. The socialist win. Again.

Twenty thousand trillion dollars debt??

Are you for real? Your arithmetic is not your best developed trait. That grossly exaggerated statement coincides as ridiculous along with the rest of the post.

20 -- twenty

20,000 -- twenty thousand

20,000,000 -- twenty million

20,000,000,000 -- twenty billion

20,000,000,000,000 -- twenty trillion

There Boris, I know you don't have enough fingers and toes, but maybe this helps.
