Re: Rile up the greenies, ....
I don't think it's so much to rile up the greenies as it is to completely misinterpret the reason for something and claim victory where there isn't any to claim. It's similar to claiming that the danger from a vaccine is much greater than the danger from the disease when there isn't any real comparison.
For normal rational people to make these sorts of conclusions seems entirely irrational and absurd but for this radical right-wing crowd completely normal. It's like Pizzagate, the idea that Hillary kills and eats babies in the back of a pizza shop? Of course, gotta be true.

You're proof man made global warming is not a crisis. It's all political. Dems want wind power when they don't have to look at it. Can't have it messing up their beaches since it will do nothing to lower sea levels. Hypocrats.
Kudos and exactly.
Not one has a problem with China, dumping and spewing anything and everything, but nimby.

Re: Inherent risk, ever seen fog in Maine
Can't see your hand in front of your face. Ever watch a lobsterman lifting traps, those guys don't waste any time getting between sets. I'm just speculating that they don't want to worry about a bunch of randomly placed towers along the coast.

I don't blame them a bit. Climate is not in a crisis. They are better off burning gas or coal. Same for the rest of the country that doesn't want to look at or listen to windmills.

Re: Inherent risk, ever seen fog in Maine
Windmills take large amounts of dirty mined copper, so hopefully our windmills are made in China from exclusively Chinese natural resources.

Hypocrats want a 2.1 trillion dollar bill to put windmills every where except Maine. Or any other place where Hypocrats like to gather.
