Re: Inherent risk, ever seen fog in Maine

Didn't you read that I said Maine has some small wind farms in place? I personally don't have a problem with them as long as there isn't one directly outside my door.

If republicans dislike them so much, and complain how the sound causes cancer, why are there so many of them in red states like TX, OK, KS, etc. Why did they allow some of those states to pass laws requiring that certain % of power be wind generated?

How can you hate them yet embrace them at the same time?

(How can you hate them yet embrace them at the same time?)

Appears that the original posts asks how can Democrat Maine claim to love wind farms / energy and yet not-embrace them in their back yard at the same time.

The rules banning these windmills were made by dems. Has nothing to do with repubs or red states.

So why haven't the red states banned them? The GOP hates green energy

"The GOP hates green energy":  Huh - Not quite as good as hypocrats making up the false narrative that Republicans are the ones for defunding the police.......but close there acx.

Let's see, Republican Kansas is pro-wind energy; Democrat Maine is anti-wind energy - Mmmm.

Energy policy vs police defunding....
Are you the apple or the orange in that ridiculous comparison?

Or are you in favor of the false narrative that all liberals hate America, and are communists? Or do you prefer the one about all Trump supporters being in a cult?

I can go all day long with this kind of foolishness.

Let's conclude that Kansas and other red states did what they felt was best for their states regarding wind energy; as did Maine. And don't paint Maine as a hotbed of liberalism as it's not.

I believe my statement sailed over you noggin there acx - I gave you an example of another time that Democrats were / are trying to change the narrative like you just did on wind energy.

Changing the narrative? If you mean like saying an attack on a certain capitol wasn't an insurrection, but rather a bunch of visitors touring the building, then I fully understand your point.

Re: Inherent risk, ever seen fog in Maine

Let's quit subsidizing coal and oil, subsidize wind, and solar to the same amounts and make it both affordable and green.
