Manchin
Manchin: Yea, I was wrong last year when I promised that trillion's of hypocrat pork wouldn't lead to inflation, but this time I really really promise that this additional $740 billion in spending won't lead to more inflation.
Dang hypocrats.
Hypocrats spending and proposed spending this week: $740 billion on build back more inflation & higher taxes; $280 billion on chips bill; $400 billion discretionary spending added to burn pits bill.

Re: Manchin
Senator Bill Cassidy said that Manchin was lying on the ABC morning show. Manchin is still a Democrat. But that "Veteran" bill that Democrats, John Stewart and Bruce were wagging their fingers at Republicans voted against. Democrats figured out how to tag a bill with "Veteran" and all our elected representation is supposed to automatically drop trou and agree to it regardless of the pork, or else "yoooou voted against a veeeeeteraaaaan bill!!! Shame Shame".

Re: Manchin
God help us if you Monday morning “Republicans” (I’ll stand by everything I’ve ever said about the first one of you never having been involved at any level of party politics before Dennison came down those stairs) don’t approve of very significant deficit reduction.

Re: Manchin
Deficit reduction by increased spending. What a tool. Remember this Bruce, it's the economy stupid.

Re: Manchin___Closing loopholes
Can't speak for the rest of you, but I for one was mightily relieved to learn today that Joe Manchin and his fellow Democrats are NOT going introduce some new 15% across the board minimum corporate tax.
Don't you know, it's now called, closing a loophole? Makes all the difference in the world...if you are clever enough to understand Washingtonspeak.
Just, do not be too surprised next year when your newly purchased products and goods come with an added 15% closed loophole fee attached.
[File under: Corporations do not pay taxes. They only collect them.]

Re: Manchin___Closing loopholes
Those on fixed incomes are the ones I worry the most about as this transitory inflation is going to transit a lot of them into poverty.
$400 billion of pork here.....$300 billion of pork there, pretty soon it's real money.
I think I have positioned myself pretty well for price explosions, and will continue to bet that way and make future moves with that in mind.
It is not a good looking future for America, though.
Thanks, liberals....you own this.
Also.....looks like people are leaving liberal enclaves in droves....for conservative, law abiding pastures.
