Re: Mars finding?

4 wheel, you are free to belive as you please. As for me, life on Mars has no bearing on my Belief in God.

Re: Mars finding?

If you really do not know of anyone 3020 then your reading is too limited.

Look around and you will find lots.

Maybe you are more enlightened than I thought until you get into this magic being 'creating' everything.

As for the bible talking about the 'universe' I would have to loo for that.

I know some would like to think 'heavens' covers the universe but that is a religious term which has no indication that it comprehends what is out there in the space of the universe.

Definition of the word is mostly religious or applies to the part of the universe that 'can be seen from earth'.

Like I have always said religion is used as a crutch and ana excuse.

Does not matter how you live just believe.

Suppose that is why the % of prison inmates is so low proportionatley of non believers and so high of 'believers' in a god.

And you will continue to misunderstand because you refuse to believe

Re: Mars finding?

Do you ever do anything where you look over your shoulder and wonder if the "sanctification" thingee might not hold on that one?

Might want to be extra judicious in the immediate coming days, just for saftey's sake:

Can't we see Mars from Earth? By your own definition, it would be included.

Does it make any difference what religion she was?

The article pointed out that she was not catholic.

There are other religions that have the same belief.  Which one was she?

And what if Bush had been stopped before hundreds of thousands died in the last 10 years?

Amen to that.  Too bad Congress was asleep at the wheel.

And there are proven cases of innocents being put to death by those seeking revenge in your country too.

I am willing to bet you, that I can find more instances, of people killed by someone, who had been found guilty of murder, and sentanced to death, than you can find people who have had been executed, and proven innocent.  I'm willing to go back 50 years (I don't know exactly when the 'beyond a shadow of a doubt' was added, but I'm sure it was in force at least that long).  Are you willing to take that bet?

What if there is no religion?

Not sure where you see 'no religion' being forced on anyone.

So you mean, when religious displays are removed by court order, because of athiests, that is not a removal, of religion?

Lots of cases of religion being forced on people who understand there is no god.

Don't you mean people who 'believe' there is no God?  We are each entitled to our own beliefs, but I have yet to have any kind of proof that there is no God.

Might be the atheist definition of the word but not the Christian. The universe is boundless.

Would you doubt that if you look at the percentage of the population that "believe" vs those who are atheists, that you just might find that the prison population is pretty close to that same ratio in general society?

Re: Our northern friend said....

What is your point 'napper? I assume you are trying to connect those who say they are "believers" to those who are believers???
