BA do you really think that those 'illegal immigrants' are having 72% of the babies in New Mexico?

If so then your society is doomed as birth rates are hardly adequate to maintain the population, take away 72% of the births and then the population would really decline.

I guess in the new United States there is no hope for someone who is born poor to rise up in society.

New Mexico isn`t exactly a "white/Red State".   Of course every single one of the Medicaide babies aren`t from illegal aliens, some were made citizens by President Reagan`s amnesty and these are their grandchildren..ect.

You don't need any pointers but Good Christian Folk generally get around that by claiming they're all malingerers.

Also as to the largest line item in Medicaid- nursing home care- most states have tightened regulations on the spend down and other methods for beating the system- which they should have.

Plenty of people used those loopholes when they could.

Ba, what about the large number in Wisconsin 64%, Iowa 37% and Nebraska 34%?? Seems pretty high to me. However, I couldn't find any reputable sources on this or even any explanation of why this is happening but I have my suspicions.

Sure Schurrbart, so you know how I always bring up factories moving overseas and our trade imbalance?   Well I have seen with my own eyes factories that have closed and moved out of the country for cheaper labor.  Well that has been going on for 30yrs now, the family loses one or two living wage jobs and it`s devastating.  They never recover, having to take substandard jobs and when the lady of the family becomes pregnant she only has a Walmart job, her husband works at a car wash, well their baby has to go on medicaide and other public assistance.   The fact is, they just don`t make enough money to raise a child. 

I do not advocate not taking care of children of those that don`t make enough money to be self sufficient, nothing further from the truth.  I say first be aware of the problem, then do not bring in more of the problem from foreign countries, then assist our domestic families to get living wage jobs which entails doing something about factories leaving the country.
