Re: Meme of the day

(Economy is improving and a rate rise is needed to slow down the economy.)

"a rate rise is needed to slow down the economy"

Did your boy McClain say this or did you just make it up thinking someone might buy this and change their vote to Hillary.

The reason the fed has not raised the rate for many years is because of such a slow economy under President Obama - The slowest recovery since the Great Depression.

I guess if you want to slow down this economy where the growth is slower then the slowest since the Great Depression - vote for Hillary and "slow down the economy".

Re: Meme of the day

Canuck, not that you will care but this country has a record 95 million out of the workforce, the chronically unemployed are no longer counted....wipe your butt with the phoney unemployment numbers.   Under Obama`s watch, the national debt DOUBLED!   Under Obama`s LACK of leadership, he added MORE debt than ALL previous 43 US presidents...that fact made Sharksoup shutup, didn`t it?

The fed knows they have to raise rates or no one will take the risk on this country`s banana republic`s debt...however, if raises go up so does the deficit.and it would push the precarious housing market off the cliff.

This is what you're going to get, BA. but it won't be from the liberals, it will come from your side of the aisle.

Re: Meme of the day

Unlike some on here, I don't argue accurate facts. Here's a great chart showing historical debt numbers. http://www.polidiotic.com/by-the-numbers/us-national-debt-by-year/ Heavy debt spending began under Reagan, and he set the standard for recent Presidents. I seldom hear complaining about that. The more interesting thing would be why... Why such increases over the past 30 years? What was the money spent on? And why didn't Congress either cut spending, raise taxes, or both to counteract the problem? And what are other countries doing right? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_public_debt

I was just wondering what the solid citizen riff-raff was up to. Now I know. Thanks. Look at it this way, you will have four more years to complain once golden boy looses. I'm with the nasty woman.

Re: Meme of the day

BA the discussion I was listening to was about the CHANGE not the number.

Since your economy has ben improving steadily for that many months with no setbacks they were pointing out that it would lead to an interest increase next month.

I know the fact that your economy is improving is not what your proposed leader says or wants to admit but facts are facts.

You can contiue to believe it is all doom and gloom if that makes you happy but what they were saying in their discussion did not sound like things were so bad.

Of course that was Canadian financial advisors so maybe they are not impacted by your doom and gloom leaders belief.

Re: Meme of the day

Sure Reagan spent alot, but did he spend more than all of the 39 presidents before him combined???  I have alot of bones to pick with Reagan, he really got this free trade crap rolling, I hadn`t even heard of the damned Walmart store until about 1985.  Reagan granted 3 million Mexicans amnesty based on Senator Lyin` Ted Kennedy would fix the border and we`d NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT AGAIN.

Obama was on record as saying that the national debt is "unpatriotic".  Obama had a Democrat House and Senate, he owned the government.(first two years)..and here he doubled the national debt.  ..and all you can do in the other thread was some goofy statement that Melonia Trump is a "illegal alien"???

Re: Meme of the day

What's goofy is that Trump's wife worked here illegally.  And by his standards that makes her someone undesirable to be in this country.  Yet all along they both said they would produce documents proving everything was legal.  You suppose she paid taxes an those earnings? How many models lost work because an illegal alien took jobs from them.

Goofy?  Perhaps.  But it shows in a microcosm that neither candidate is clean and both fail the hypocrisy test.
