Europeans — especially women and cops — are stocking up on guns for personal protection in the wake of the New Year’s Eve refugee sex attacks.

The number of gun permits issued has recently quadrupled in Germany and Austria after the attacks in Cologne and Salzburg, according to the weapons industry.

“Women customers include waitresses that need to get home in the evening, and women that walk dogs regularly in the evenings. We are also seeing some coming in to buy them for their daughters,” Gerhard Fuchs, a gunsmith in Innsbruck, Austria, told Central European News.

Vienna Mayor Michael Haupl has promised to deploy 1,000 additional cops to patrol the streets — but many say that is too little, too late after about 200,000 asylum-seekers entered the country in recent months.

One in three criminals in Austria are foreigners, according to 2014 figures by the Interior Ministry. In Vienna, it was almost every other criminal.

Another question.  Can you show that they (Germany) have changed their gun laws in the last 6 months or so?  Because, if they haven't, the article shows that Germans and Austrian gun dealers are violating the law if the article is true.

Are not the goals of the American Democratic Party to have the largest, most controlling Centralized Government as possible? Are not the goals of the American tea party, libertarian movement to have the smallest,least restrictive, locally controlled government as possible?

Which of the two is the closest to what the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi) in size and scope?

Well, you should try to get at least the states to declare themselves independent countries, preferably individual counties and then you can get your wish for no control, small govt's, no regulations, no taxes etc!   Until then we are a union, a very complex country!

We passed the 10th Amendment to the United States Constitution to limit the overreach of those whom sought sovereign or centralized control over The People of our Republic.

The Supreme Court has been overstepping their Constitutional bound duties of determining the Constitutionality of laws passed by Congress or decisions made by lower courts, by creating new "laws" out of thin air, bypassing the Constitutional bound duties of the elected Congress. 

This is is the recipe for tyranny , no different than the Politburo of the former Soviet Union, or the Caliphate of ISIS.

Of course, I forgot that the entire govt, all branches, are against you righties even though the righty appointees outnumber the left 5-4!  Always it is the fault of whomever is voting against your interests!  Never a thought that maybe your interests are not good for the entire country!
