Most powerful unions.

No.1 Service Employees International Union No.2American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees

No.2 American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees
No.3National Education Association

Nation's largest healthcare union, SEIU was instrumental in helping pass Obama's healthcare legislation.

The AFSCME is a major player; since 1989 they have backed Democratic candidates to the tune of over $43 million, more than any other union in the country.

The NEA's annual budget is around $300 million, they have put $32 million behind Democratic candidates since 1989, and last year alone they topped all public-sector unions in money spent on lobbyists, a whopping $3.6 million.

Notice that the top unions are mostly government workers and notice we are in debt 15 trillion dollars and notice that we are at the bottom of the world in education.

Just think how much worse it would be without unions.
