Re: Need a Sammy to debunk
(NY Times, put on twitter by steventdennis)
Seems like a pretty meaningless stat - but since you posted it, is this a stat that the NY Times has been tracking, utilizing various states, since covid begin? Or is this the first time, put out there as hypocrat bait?

If every state had new Jerseys death rate over a million people would be dead.
What exactly is the point?

Re: That stat is the 7 day average death rate.
Sam, you keep referring to NY & NJ's deaths last spring & early summer long before there were vaccines, or before they even knew what they were up against. NY's current death rate is o.15, less than 1/10th of Florida's. The difference is, NY was 70% vaccinated a month ago when Florida wasn't even 50%. NY has a mask mandate if you are not vaccinated & cannot maintain at least six feet of separation in public indoors or outside. People who are vaccinated must still wear a mask when in certain public spaces or situations, schools, transportation, etc. Almost all stores require a mask, nobody even thinks twice.
But don't worry Sam, we've still got our share of the anti-mask anti-vaccine crowd. And Delta is finding them and sending them tio the hospital and beyond.

Re: "Killed everybody at high risk", not even close.
There are 3.4 million over 65 even after last year's losses but 90-95% are vaccinated so we're in pretty good shape.
