New IHME Covid death projections, 540,000 dead by April 1.

540,000  dead by April 1 with current mitigation measures, the upper limit of the estimate is 770,000, could go as high as 900,000 unless people really start to get serious.

Trump complains about his election loss and refuses to use the power he has to save Americans.

Could you explain exactly what that power is and what you want done?

Lol.

Now we're at "I didn't smell anything funny when the wind was coming from Dachau."

Re: That power? At the very least, the bully pulpit.

Currently, we're only at about 70% mask use.  Even at this late date, if we went to universal mask use we could save 100,000 lives by April.   So far, trump has only given perfunctory support for mask use and that was months ago.  If he made an effort to encourage mask use some people who still think that using a mask is somehow disloyal, might live.  And don't tell me it's their own choice, because it's unreasonable to expect people to be loyal to trump on one hand and do the very thing he discourages on the other.

They have enforced mask mandates all over Europe, hasn't done a thing.

You're blaming trump for these deaths because people aren't using masks?  Convincing people to wear masks is the power to save all that you think trump should weld?   You gotta be kidding me.

Actually have bent the curve back again with public health measure across Europe.

But Sweden, Hawaii, whatever.

Re: That power? At the very least, the bully pulpit.

Let us get this straight.

The company line that you hold is that since the wearing of masks hasn’t prevented every infection and hasn’t led to a cure that it stands that they have done nothing to keep it from being much worse than it has been?

You are prematurely decomposing my friend.
