News reporting

It is interesting how a story is reported in different markets and also by different media.

For example

From Reuters

In his 30-minute speech, the Iranian leader also failed to mention the pro-democracy uprisings that have swept the Arab world this year, includingSyria, Iran's closest Arab ally.

U.S. delegates walked out when Ahmadinejad said "arrogant powers" threatened anyone who questioned the Holocaust and the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States with sanctions and military action. Other Western delegates also left, in what has become an annual feature of Ahmadinejad's U.N. appearances.

From CBC

Delegations from about a dozen countries, including Canada, walked out of the UN General Assembly as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad delivered a fiercely anti-American speech Thursday.

The Canadian delegation was the first to walk out, just as Ahmadinejad entered the room at the UN in New York City, reports CBC's David Common.

U.S. and European delegates, as well as others, walked out of the chamber soon after.

Points out how the same story can be told in different media and lead to a different interpretation.

Read more than one source for a balanced view of what is happening in the world, do not allow one view to lead you into the future.

And Al Jazeera didn't even mention it that I could find!
