Re: Nice kids
I think I have a pretty good idea but I won't jump to conclusions the way he does.

The company she works for. She is not a government employee.
BTW would you disparage my daughter if she was getting a government check?

Re: Nice kids
Of course, If alledged parental mistreatment actually occured, then the children have a right to steal HIS money.l The fact that he is unable to manage is own affairs should have nothing to do with it.
And people wonder why parents appoint a trustee unrelated to the beneficiaries.

Re: to be contrary
In most cases, people get a power of attorney to manage parental affairs. In some cases it requires a court order if parent is deemed unfit to manage for themselves and unwilling to grant such control.

How many of you rural folks...
How many of you rural folks benefited from learning about free-to-air satellite TV? This system is ideal for those who don't have cable TV as an option, and as stated before -- once you buy the equipment, there is no monthly cost for the service. Free-to-air satellite is rich with content from all over the world, but especially interesting are the things our government spends your tax dollars trying to stop you from learning about (Press TV, Iran). They fear that if you discover most Iranians are normal, loving White people, some of them Christians, just like yourself, then maybe they won't appear in your mind's eye as demons -- the way our Zionist occupied government wishes for you to see them. Then maybe you won't wish to kill them -- what Israel fears the most!

Re: Nice kids
How are they stealing it? I'm not saying they aren't but you say they are with no proof of what's actually going on.
Parents appoint an unbiased trustee to keep the kids from thinking one of their siblings shafted them in the estate settlement. Its smart to do that. I bet you do it too.

Re: to be contrary
Kinda looks like his kids were spoiled brats. I guess my position is that, no one gave me a **bleep** thing, other than the freedom to fail and learn from my mistakes. I do not share the philosophy that your children are owed anything, but the life you gave them, and the opportunity to survive or fail in this world once they reach majority.
By the time they have graduated from high school, you have paid all their expenses, provided them with a high school education. Why in hell you would pay for their college or even burden them with that option, unless it was your idea. If college is in any kids future it has to be their idea, not their parents. They are the ones who must assume the risk and the cost of getting the knowledge they deem important, not the parent.
I have never witnessed so many people with college degrees who never found their path in life, because mommy and daddy wanted them to get the education they never had and who actually believed with a "sheeps skin" you were guaranteed the good job, the high pay, and the great retirement plan.
When in fact . . . the criteria for achieving those goals (if that is the kids goal) is making decisions on their own, assuming the risk of loss that goes with making bad choices, and not have mommy and daddy letting them move back into the house at age 30 so mommy can wash little johnny's clothes and allow them to reside in a home which is way beyond their means in most cases starting out in life.
That is why, the real stars in this world are those who actually made their own decisions and decided WHY they needed more education, and who chose their own path in life, instead the path mommy and daddy wanted, so they could sit at the club and tell the other drones who congregate there how proud they are of little Johnny being at ISU or Harvard because that is where they wanted them to be.
Give me a frigging break! Wind is going down, I have to go spray bean ground. Adios Amigos. John

Denying him cable tv or nursing home care to preserve his cash for estate purposes.
