Nine seconds

That's how much time the police officer had to react that is now condemned by Lebron James and the president of the United States. What a disgusting display of racial hate.

Believe your own eyes. She had a knife. Had she not been stopped, that knife would have gone into the body of the girl on the car. The police officer was witness to a violent act in real time and interceded the only way he could.

At the five-second mark in the video, the officer has gotten out of his car and is asking someone on the street, “What’s going on?” Two seconds — two seconds — later, the first girl being chased by Bryant falls to the ground.

“Hey! Hey!” the cop says at the nine-second mark, as he spots Bryant turning toward the second girl. At 10-second mark, he says with great urgency, “Get down! Get down! Get down!”

It’s now the 12-second mark. The cop has removed his gun from his holster. At 13 seconds, Bryant’s arm is drawn. At 14, we see Bryant fall to the ground.

What this means is that the officer found himself in the middle of a violent confrontation and had to act . . . within nine seconds.

Re: Nine seconds

If it was rickys daughter about to get the knife in the throat what would he want the cop to do?

Re: Nine seconds

Rickety's daughter isn't black, so per his kind, she deserves police protection.  It's black daighters that don't deserve it.

He's okay with this.

Re: Nine seconds

It`s sad that the last resort you call the cops, when you have no where else to turn, then these brave people are treated the way they are.  They lay down their lives for the exact same people that were spitting on them just a minute ago.  They are repaid by the people that make their tough job tougher, by ending up in court, family threatened.  There just isn`t enough money to put up with that and many won`t and I wouldn`t blame them.

10 years ago the wife or husband would kiss their law enforcement spouse good bye and their only prayer was that they come home safely.  Now, the fear is will a tragedy occur beyond their control where our house is painted in pig blood and fire bombed?

Just a stepping stone to a nationalized police force. Then Lebron James will be one of the first to get his mouth shut for him.

That's not by accident... but we all already know that.

Gots to create those crises so they can provide a national police force solution... wonder where they'll find all those perfect nationalized cadets?

Re: Nine seconds

Told my wife I couldn't bear to watch. Just so tired of this stuff becoming a daily occurrence. She did view it and agreed with what the police reported; that this teenage girl was about to hurt or kill someone.
