Re: Nine seconds

Seemed a necessary action from what I saw.

Only question I had was why 4 shots?

1 should have stopped the girl

But in the excitement of the moment it might be hard to stop pulling the trigger

If he shot only once and the perpetrator finishes the assault both might be dead.

Re: Nine seconds

Canuck -- there would have been no way to know if 1 shot would have stopped that girl.  Knife was being swung or thrust.  Agree with 3020.  The policeman had split-second decisions to make to protect the girl being attacked.

Put it this way -- if you're in the woods, have a sidearm, and a mountain lion attacks you -- do you shoot only once and then see if the attack stops, or do you shoot again (if you can), until the attack stops?

Bottom line -- unless you've taken a clear and obvious stopping shot, shoot again.

Re: Nine seconds

Different scenario -- assume the policeman had tried to shoot the attacker's arm, and instead shot the girl in pink?  What if the officer shot the attacker only once, then waited, and the attacker still stabbed and/or killed the girl in pink?  What if the officer kept his gun holstered, tried to grab the attacker, but didn't get there in time?

Has anyone interviewed the girl in pink, or her parents?

It`s sad that the last resort you call the cops, when you have no where else to turn, then these brave people are treated the way they are.  They lay down their lives for the exact same people that were spitting on them just a minute ago.  They are repaid by the people that make their tough job tougher, by ending up in court, family threatened.  There just isn`t enough money to put up with that and many won`t and I wouldn`t blame them.

10 years ago the wife or husband would kiss their law enforcement spouse good bye and their only prayer was that they come home safely.  Now, the fear is will a tragedy occur beyond their control where our house is painted in pig blood and fire bombed?

That's not by accident... but we all already know that.

Gots to create those crises so they can provide a national police force solution... wonder where they'll find all those perfect nationalized cadets?

The elitist ruling class will find their  Schutzstaffel cadets the same way Adolf Hitler found his.

Pure Aryan Germans? They're likely a bit hard to come by, I would say.

The sheep of the state are easy to find... look for the morons in masks.  They'll cut their own oxygen supply because the state told them they should.

Not hard to understand they'd be willing to force others to cut theirs as well.... "I'm just doing my job."

Hey you know that since the p1 variant is 4 times as transmissible as the original you need to wear 4 masks to defeat it.

Re: Nine seconds

I was thinking the other day, how does Rickety pull out some of the most dumbest things on here and pretend he's being serious.... then it hit me.  He probably took Falsey at his word and has been double masked 24/7 killing most of his brain cells.... but after seeing more Rickety math the other day, I bet you're closer to being right.  He's probably quadrupled masked.
