Don't matter anyway, like I said nothing will be done till the seas rise, If they do. That will be the only proof of anything to do with warming. The rest is just weather to most folks.
Got a little warmer here today anyway, but the boiler froze at work last night. That's gonna cost us. That is what makes me paranoid - expenses.

Something has been done. No more RU12, new tier 4 engines, no more incandescent light bulbs, and an end to new coal fired power plants. All of which has caused great expense to working class Americans.

At least the new name for it is correct.....
It is no longer called global warming. It's climate change. No one can deny that climate changes so it's a good name change.
This movement is going to be the biggest fraud in the history of fraud. It will be one you liberals look back on when you are wondering why you live under communist rule. Just an attempt at more regulation, more government intervention. Typical liberal trick....create fear and you got em begging for it.

New name for it is irrelevant.....
You make me laugh Cotman! Communist? How can that be with Wall Street, the banks and the wealthy controlling our political system, laws and steering pretty much everything to their favor? We are about as Capitalist as any country on this planet gets. I guess you are simply worried about "purity." Can you name another country where the economics of financial institutions, business and holding financial assets are greater and have more sway over government policy than in this country? Let's hear it.
Nothing will be done about "Global Warming" until it effects corporate and investment interests financially and they start calling for action through their influence and lobby channels. Rest easy. You might suffer a few regulations that can be enacted without legislation, but that's about it.

R12. The stuff that was banned because of man made global warming. Everything had to be converted to 134A.

You must be able to think of some more 'stuff' to blame on global warming since you seem to lump every change into that catch all.
If you wish to get more info try this site which talks of the ban because 'it was depleting the Ozone' that is the layer in the atmosphere that stops harmful ultra violet rays.
http://www.theozonehole.com/montreal.htm
After a series of rigorous meetings and negotiations, the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer was finally agreed upon on 16 september 1987 at the Headquarters of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal. The Montreal Protocol stipulates that the production and consumption of compounds that deplete ozone in the stratosphere--chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), halons, carbon tetrachloride, and methyl chloroform--are to be phased out by 2000 (2005 for methyl chloroform). Scientific theory and evidence suggest that, once emitted to the atmosphere, these compounds could significantly deplete the stratospheric ozone layer that shields the planet from damaging UV-B radiation.
Man-made chlorines, primarily chloroflourobcarbons (CFCs), contribute to the thinning of the ozone layer and allow larger quantities of harmful ultraviolet rays to reach the earth.

Are these the same ultraviolet rays given off by CFL light bulbs?
