He's more likely to be referring to the 2nd Wednesday in November, 2008 when the Jr. Senator from Illinois woke up, turned on the news and as he walked past a mirror on his way to the bathroom caught a glimpse of himself and had to have known "this has to be a mistake".
For 10's of millions who would have agreed it's been all and everything and nothing else than about that since then. All sorts of cover stories and abstractions have been conjured up about policies and vision, but have been shown to be nothing more than that.
Culminated in the cluster bleep that was the effort by the Republican House and the sorta-kinda Republican President last week, operating on the presumption that something with his name on it would be met with summary approval, regardless of it's content.
