Bush, while President, didn't take exotic luxury vacations, he just went home to his ranch with the same security detail he had in Washington, meaning it didn't cost the taxpayers much more than if he stayed in Washington.  My problem is with the number of vacations and the expense of these vacations -- the kind they wouldn't take if they had to pay for them themselves.  Take for example when he was visiting the Iowa State Fair, shut down the beer garden for most of the day, costing the owner tens of thousands, asked for drinks and food for himself and friends -- then left and never paid.  Nobody paid, ever!  The pissed owner actually reported this on the web but no media coverage that I'm aware of.  I'm sure walking out without paying is a common event for the Obamas.

I gooled presidents WH costs to compare Obama to others. What found was that GWB costs in 2008 was 1.6 billin compared to Obama 1.4 billion that some idiot elected officals are raving about . Also found GWB spent over 20,million in fights to crawford.  He spent more time on "vacation " than any other president 32% in 8 yrs.   What is the cost to operate the House of Reps  and how many days are these raving idiots  on "break"?  House leader just sent them out  for two weeks agaiin    What does it cost our children grand kids for all these "breaks" and the to fly them home?    my is home ever week end..to see kids, Isn't odd you run to take a job knowing its  in Wash   but than expect taxpayers to shuttle you home evry weekend to be with family.....move where the job is at????????     Your regarded as failure when you spend your time blaming others
