Obama blocks Texas voter ID law

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2012/03/illegitimate-president-blocks-legitimate-vot...   To write a check..to use your credit card...if a cop pulls you over for speeding(it did says spending hee hee).  You need to show a photo ID, but apparently the illegitimate President Obama does not think that you need a ID to vote.  Folks, I can not say this often enough or loud enough this horrible man Obama needs replaced in the fall.  If we don`t we are DONE! Pure and simple, DONE!

There is a lot of Derrick Bell showing through Obama. No wonder his Harvard records are under lock and key.

Those voter ID laws were passed for one reason only. Voter suppression and the target is a specific voter block.

No. It is because too many dead people are voting.

Re: Obama blocks Texas voter ID law

The President (as you portray him, or any other President, here...singularly) can't block anything.  The U.S. DOJ put a block on it as they are required to by the 1965 law.  As they likely will after scrutiny of every other one of these new voter I.D. laws coming out of the states.

Justice blocking them, as law would mandate that they do if they seem to be out of compliance with it, is a vehicle to get them into to Federal Courts where they will ultimately be ruled upon.

And I can't say it loud enough nor often enough--prove he is not legally the president or STFU!

Academic records are NOT within the realm of the freedom of information act.  Why don't you show yours??  You too ollie.  Show your school records if you aren't a coward!!  But then, you are so we won't be seeing them.

Oh...and P.S.. BA

You didn't notice states trying to pass voter ID laws during the Bush admministration because the Repbulicans in the states didn't want to put the Bush DOJ on the spot to back the law, as they would have been if there had been any passed.  When in fact none were even proposed.

Now there is political hay to be made out of the futility.
