Well it's not affecting us so why should we be involved with an african disease?
I guess we should have ignored the HIV epidemic and the europeans didn't take the plague seriously until it killed millions over there.
Along those lines when the flu epidemic was going on in the mid west back in the 20's or 30'smany families were quaranteed. An Old man from my home town told me that as a child he delivered family needs to quaranteed homes because his whole family had been afflict with the flu and he was the only family member that resisted it. Thus he was appointed dekivery boy for the community.
He passed a few years back of cancer. Of course I became an old man myself. His son is still living in our community and he is ten years older than I.
