Opinion

Last hour or two, been typing too much.
After this post I'm going to shut up for
A while.
I want to say I don't take extreme pleasure
Running down our leader...in some way
I think he wanted to make some changes...
But....he, himself, had too much baggage...
While maybe a businessman, being president
Is very demanding....and takes a very special
Person...out of all the millions...only 44 people
Have held the office.
In this instance..many things have been said.
Nobody wants the drugs to come in. We all
Want the murders isolated.
But....a all metal wall the length of the border
Just is alot of money, and let's just be
Honest about the cost, and who really
Is going to pay for it, and how are we going
To work thru the issue of workers....
I think these issues need to be worked
Out together.....not one person
Ok...I'll shut up for a while.
Thank you

Re: Opinion

The cost of not having one is immense, far greater than the 5.7 billion necessary to erect it.

Oh, and the money is already accounted for. And it will be built by the military. But it's fun watching the dems self destruct trying to defend their position, he's only giving them the opportunity to compromise. But they won't. Which will be for the good of America. We get the wall, and the dems prove they actually dont care about America. A win/win.

Re: Opinion

So you want a wall......as long as Trump doesn't build it. Well both repub and dem has had multiple chances and failed. Time to get it built. Time to enforce existing laws. Time to finally secure the border.

Re: Opinion

Kind of a  communist/socialist reply.

Explanation: Communism has failed everywhere and every time.  When it does the defenders and apologists say the same thing, "it wasn't communism that failed it was the leaders and implementation that failed."

elcheapo's employing the same concept, blaming the President as the problem with getting funding.  If it was Obama or Clinton wanting the funding then five times as much would have been just fine.

If you really believe 5.7 billion will build WALL........you are not paying attention !  25b to 30b is current estimate.

2002, where did you find this grand plan? No one else seems to know this.

These people build things related to national security Bart.

Remember that the 2019 defense budget has already been passed. It was passed at the same time the 2018 defense budget was passed.

Pretty big up tick if you recall.... Most people didn't pay it much attention. Nor the fact that all he has to do is declare a national emergency and it's a done deal.

Know how many national emergencies were already under? Lol.

He's giving Chuck and Nancy an opportunity to be bipartisan, but they've dug their grave already. So they either bend their knee and divide their party....or they don't bend their knee and they prove to everyone they really don't believe in border security.

It's a loose loose for them now.

When the fat lady sings be sure and let us know. Until then, you can't predict tomorrow, much less next week or the month following.

His record of keeping his word on the campaign trail is so far above and beyond what the leaches have done over the years, that I absolutely don't mind having patience to watch it all unfold.

Tantrum throwing because you think you have to have something right now is a symptom of the immediate gratification society. Mommy mommy, I saw the candy isle and I need it right now! I'm going to hold my breath until you give it to me!

World politics doesn't work that way. Big plans take time to unfold. Some years. Some have taken decades.

But you can have your democrat candy headlines and accomplishments.

I'm willing to wait to eat a rib eye from the grill when I get home.
