Our Amy
inks a $2M advance for a book on how judges shouldn't rule on their feelings.
Fair enough, if you're a crypto-Catholic you don't have to either think or feel- just do what The Big Guy says. And I don't mean God. I don't even mean the current Big Guy.
But a bigger problem is when people have too many kids to support on a $250K/yr. judge gig. Those elite DC Catholic Preps where Kavanaugh and Gorsuch matriculated are dang expensive.

Re: Our Amy
It would be fair to assume that the folks who fund The Federalist Society have made the publisher comfortable that there will be sufficient sales to cover the advance.
Where did Kavanaugh get the cash to pay off his debts, BTW?
Corruption much?

Also giving Barr a deal since he immolated his own reputation on their behalf.
BTW, what did happen to that Caterpillar case that Barr was counsel on before campaigning for and being named AG?

Re: Our Amy
Correction- you do have to think.
But that is limited to following the path blazed by Scalia where you think up a clever argument about why you have unique insights into what The Founders originally thought.
And then arrive at the solution that suits the folks who placed you there.
