"Tax the man behind the tree" was all I read.
Maybe I need to read it again????
You're right MOS, it would all end up in a rat hole away. The way to help the poor is to create jobs, that requires less government involvement not more. The ticket tax might be a good way to hit Bruce and some of his rich friends but would be a detriment to society as a whole.

Re: Patriots
This part of the thread is an example of how easy it can be to fall into the liberal trap of building up government involvement into everyday life to punish the other guy.
Don't forget "The man behind that tree" is you and me.

Re: Patriots
well, you have to forgive me....I live in Minnesota where our goofy governor signed off on a RINO plan to give hundreds of millions of dollars to a wealthy Jewish family from NYC for a stadium that I am never going to set foot in anyways.
And I have been paying more MN taxes for the last five years than federal, so I guess some of it is coming out of my pocket, too. We in MN that are the workers are a heavily taxed lot.

Red, very very seldom is the answer more and bigger government. We don't have a revenue problem we have a spending problem. The billionaire owners and millionaire players need to build their own stadiums and then charge enough for tickets to pay for them. If that doesn't work the land needs to remain bare.

Pretty simple
I'll do the math later when I get home, but by rough windage I think all you have to do to get the pressure of a football to drop from 12.5psi to 10.5 at 50F is start with 120 degree air.
I'm not sure that would even be very noticable to touch but if you had it timed right you could also do tricks like cooling the surface, etc.

Not a criminal offense. Between the Patriots and the NFL. If the NFL is serious about integrity they will ban at least Belichick and maybe Brady from the super bowl. If the Patriots still win neither get a ring. Should send a strong message.

Seems to be one of the all time great mysteries. When ask about it Andrew Luck had a great answer. He said we all just feel a little deflated.
