Jim Irsay did the same thing in Indianapolis. He wanted a new stadium with a retractable roof and a lot more big revenue creating skyboxes. He was to help pay for it. What he kicked in was not handing the city a big bill for breaking the contract they had with the Colts by tearing down the RCA dome before that contract came to an end. I don't pay much attention myself but my boys love it. I figure it is a lot better pastime than a lot of other things they could be doing. So we spend a lot of Sunday afternoon time cheering and booing at the tube.
