Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

...in 10 years, without raising taxes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo48XMYTkH0  We really missed the boat when Romney/ryan lost last November.

But......! Are the people of this country really as stupid as the last election would indicate?  I don`t know, but it looks like crookedness got 0bama elected http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/11/cincinnati-poll-worker-charged-with-voting-half-dozen-tim...     I mean crookedness beyond the smear campaign against Romney and the media blitz against Romney.  It looks like strategically place "poll workers" and rigged voting machines in key states allowed the heist of the century in the stealing of the 2012 election.  The stakes were just too high for the socialists.  Getting one of their own, that would be a lame-duck, not beholding to re-election, free to give away the candy store with impunity.

Re: Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

What she did was rob 5 people of their vote. Yet it is those who want voters to produce an ID that are accused of keeping people from voting.

Re: Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

BTW, ba. This is the same dammed piece of bull$hit, he trotted out in the campaign, and the American people showed them what they thought of that! NO! and voted for the President. Ryan's plan is an abortion, it will never fly, it's DOA!!

“Who is going to end up making all the money in the end if Obamacare continues to be in place?” Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus growled Monday on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show. “It’s going to be the big corporations, right? And who gets screwed? The middle class.”

Wrong. Paul Ryan’s new budget purportedly gets about 40 percent of its $4.6 trillion in spending cuts over ten years by repealing Obamacare, but Ryan’s budget document doesn’t mention that such a repeal would also lower taxes on corporations and the wealthy that foot Obamacare’s bill.

According to an analysis by the non-partisan Tax Foundation, Obamacare redistributes income from the wealthy to the middle class. This is mainly because it hikes Medicare taxes on the top 2 percent (singles earning more than $200,000 and couples earning more than $250,000, including their investment income). This year, for example, families in the top 1 percent will be paying about $...52,000 more in Medicare taxes, on average, than they paid in 2012. Obamacare also imposes some taxes and fees on insurance companies, drug makers, and manufacturers of medical devices.

These revenues will be going mostly to pay for the healthcare of middle and lower-middle class families; most of the poor already receive Medicaid.

In other words, Mr. Priebus has it exactly backwards. If Obamacare were repealed, who would end up making all the money? Big corporations and the wealthy. Who would get screwed? The middle class.

Re: Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

That`s just the tip of the iceberg, GTO.  Democrats would require a  i.d. if you gave them a check, but it seems that they favor a loosey-goosey requirement for voting.  Keith Olbermann and Ed Shultz won`t say a damned thing about this fraud...but, if it were a Republican...oh would they raise holy hell about that! http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/election-fraud-obama-won-more-than-99-percent-of-the-vote-...   Look at that!  All those precincts where 0bama got in some cases 100% of the vote!  Not ONE PERSON voting in the 2012 election, in those precincts in OHIO voted for Mitt Romney.....Ron Paul...Gary Johnson ....Gus freaking Hall...Goll damned Mickey Mouse...NO ONE!   0bama got every single vote!

These electronic voting machines can be manipulated, `The Spotlight` exposed that in the 1990`s how electronic voting machines have put to the end honest elections.  Oh don`t I know there are plenty stupid people in this country that would vote for 0bama for a whole host of reasons.  But, the majority of people are still good.  It`s just a magic show, like the time David Copperfield made a 747 jet disappear before a audience.

Re: Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

What the real problem was, ba, was your message and a $hitty candidate. The GOP does not appeal to the American people! It's to far to the right, to radical, and to extreme, and this country is center left. What you and your people are advocating is done, it's not viable anymore.

I didn't watch it, but are saying just bal;ancing the annual budget or payoff the deficit?  If they can pull it off, go ahead. I've losing my confidence in either party for the hope of any fiscal responsibility.

Re: Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

Hey Ida, one North Iowa boy to another, to balance the budget is about how entitlements are handled and what is done about 0bamacare.  0bamacare is going to cost the taxpayers more than invading Afghanstan and Iraq and will be a bigger hit to our economy.  My Wife is a Democrat and voted for 0bama twice, so she isn`t a political hack like me, she also works at a clinic and can tell you how clinics lose money on Medicare patients and what a disaster 0bamacare will be.

Oh, I know Hobbyfarm will say how eliminating farm subsides will balance the budget and Don will say eliminating the Bush tax cuts will bring on pony rides and rainbows, but entitlements are the 3rd rail that has to be touched at some point to balance the budget. Read the obituary paper in the paper, people are living longer, being a centenarian is no longer a oddity.  If someone is a millionaire we just can`t keep sending them $2,000/mo checks starting at age 65, for the next 35 yrs of their lives. That wasn`t the deal the FDR shook hands on.

What Ryan is talking about is balancing the budget in 10 yrs, we`ll still run deficits another 10 yrs, the national debt will be well north of $20 Trillion when that theoretical balanced budget would appear.  However, 0bamacare has never gotten even a unbalanced budget through, no budget, not even his first 2 yrs with a Dem Senate and Dem House.  The grownups are not in charge in Washington, so I have no hope, it will only be a "I told you so" moment in 2014 and `16, if we last that long.   What does your daughter that works for US News/World Report have to say about all this?

Re: Paul Ryan could balance the budget..

I just can`t believe that the people of this country are that selfish and that far gone, there just can`t be entire neighborhoods in America that are that far gone.  I`ll say it again, what Patton said: "If everyone is thinking the same, somebody isn`t thinking".   I mean c`mon entire precincts, every single vote goes to 0bama???  No! There was shenanigans.  If someone didn`t like Romney or the Republican message...fair enough, but to vote 100% for a socialist that would be a lame-duck??? I just do not believe it happened without a little outside push.  Like Lance Armstrong winning 7 Tour de Frances or Mark Maguire hitting all those homeruns and we were supposed to believe that they weren`t on the "juice"???
