Pelosi pulls trigger
There must be some confidence that they’ve got more than meets the eye.
One thing that can be depended on is the Trump friendly press organs having considerable difficulty in restraining themselves.

Re: Pelosi pulls trigger
The communist coup forces won’t get Trump in the Senate, but hope to gin up Bolshevik fervor in taking the Senate next fall and neuter Trump for his second term. I hope that Barr will put a lot of the coup d’etât traitors in prison during the Senate hearings. Also, all of the senators running for President will have to stop campaigning during the long Senate hearings that will expose the coup d’etât plotters.

Lol... Brucie doesn't even know what it is that they think they've found but he's all for it! 😂😂😂
Watching the democrats erect a guillotine that they can pull the lever while their heads are inserted is going to be epic. Watching them actually pull the lever will be surreal.
Having the commies cheer them on is almost too much.... 😂

Re: Pelosi pulls trigger
Yep, let's hurry up and get it over to the Senate, so this nonsense (and waste of time and money) can be ended.
Nobody is changing House Democrat minds, minds that were made up before any of this started, so additional hearings in the House actually will change nothing, just vote on it and get it over with. The House is sounding too much like the British parliament these days, with all their "confidence" and "no confidence" votes, etc., when they should really be addressing the public confidence, or lack thereof, in the House itself, along with the competence of their Speaker, "you have to vote for it to see what's in it" Pelosi.

This sums it up well.

Re: Pelosi pulls trigger
The held one of those confidence in the House votes 13 months ago. Another one coming up in 11 more.
How’s that working out?

How about House term limits. Used to hear a lot about that.

Re: Pelosi pulls trigger
I am 100% in favor of term limits in the House. But the House itself would not likely vote for it. It would likely only happen with a constitutional amendment, ratified by the states. Same thing for the Senate.
Kind of depends on some of the particulars though.

I don't personally agree with this one. Don't think they should be forever barred -- should be able to sit out a cycle and run again, should be based on consecutive terms and not just number of terms, and should apply equally to those already in office. Plus, instead of 3 terms in the House, I'd make it 4 or 5, since each term is only 2 years. Maybe have a lifetime limit on number of terms eligible to serve for each House and Senate -- would propose a lifetime limit of double the number of consecutive terms, or 8-10 total terms in the House and 4 total terms in the Senate, whether consecutive or not.

Good ideas. But hard to get through, as you say.

So, you're saying they have depositions they have not published?
