Among the five I'd say he's the most suspect- he's predicted ten of the last two crises and Austrianism in general hasn't exactly sheathed itself in glory over the last decade- plain old Samuelson type Keynesianism has been a better fit with the reality of what has happened.

IMHO, Steve Keen and Dean Baker are always worth paying attention to.

But anyway, like the piece from Krugman I posted this morning, not a hysterical condemnation of the likely impacts of Trump's policies but still too much for Cultists to tolerate.

You used to say (when your team was in power) "don`t mix politics with your economics" and that was probably good advice, however since Novermber 8, 2016 you haven`t been following it.

Look Schiff will eventually "be right" we can`t remain on this course of every president doubling the national debt...is the national debt going to really be $40 trillion in 2024????  TSHTF way before that and that is my bold prediction.   If interest rates just hit a historical 5% it would be $1 trillion/yr just to service the debt...not to mention the hit tax revenue would take with a 5% fed funds rate.

Trump was just the "lucky guy" to catch the hot potato, I wouldn`t really be surprised that Hillary is thrilled privately and purposely threw the election.   This Russia hoax is just in place as a governor so too many conservative judges aren`t appointed.

But certainly pretty heinous to increase the deficit at this point in the cycle via tax cuts for corporations and wealthy. And in good 'ol wash rinse, repeat fashion- again building enormous structural deficits in for the next recession.

At which point the money men will really have to stoke you guys up to keep a line of defense around themselves.

Trump and Giuliani are virtually to the point where they aren't even pretending that Russia, Russia, Russia is a hoax- they're just pretending now that everybody does it and nobody can say it is illegal because he's POTUS.

And you and other mebers of the cult have been well prepped for that defense, or any, for that matter.

I don`t think any of you are stupid enough to really believe that "Trump went to Russia, peed on a bed, banged some hookers, received a big bag of campaign money from Putin and got a file from the KGB that proves Hillary is crooked" or whatever similar scenario you guys put up in a "Bombshell!" post every other day.  

Although I`m not calling any of you that stupid, I`m also not paying any of you a compliment, because what you`re doing is much worse than being stupid.  You guys are using "Russia" as a vehicle to remove a president that you don`t like from office, I fear you guys are so far gone that Trump`s innocence or guilt has absolutely no bearing on the validity of the allegations  ...you just want him out of office by whatever means it takes.   And that`s a bigger problem than being stupid, in my book.
