Pretty slick grift

for a HS dropout- almost Trump level.

The Boeberts have shown $600k in losses from their Rifle Cafe. Meanwhile her hubby is on his way to pocketing a million and a half as a consultant to the fifth largest methane emitter. Mrs. is on the committee that regulates.

OK, stuff the cash in the skinny jeans, under the holster. Write the book loss off against the payola.

Slick. Kinda.

(No conflict of interest legislation in your country?)

Doesn't seem that way, old paddle-pops pelosi just held a $29,000 per plate KKK luncheon in the NAPA Valley, with minority servants of course, and perfectly legal.

Let's see, looked like about 300 KKK'ers in attendance at grand poobah pelosi's gathering so 299* $29,000 = $8.67 million + the one $100 plate that ricki pointed out = $8.67 million less the slave servant labor of $0 = $8.67 million.

Re: Pretty slick grift

If you are trying to drive this into the realm of reality I’ll give you a  cautious thumbs up.

Extracting funds out of well heeled pompous liberals to support a party leader who is unquestionably loyal to the actual real Democrat members of her party is good business.

They’ve been proving lately  that they ain’t actually good for much of anything else,  other than destructing each other and drawing attention from serious policy matters, so good for her if she can get into their pockets.

The anti choice party of the white rich, for the white rich, by the white rich. You will comply with their dictates or you will be destroyed. The white rich anti choice party of hate and intolerance.

So tell me, which is better the party of white rich people who throw the unwashed a few $ trillion in crumbs or the party of rich white people who give themselves $ trillions in tax breaks and don't throw the unwashed any crumbs?

At least one republican Congressman has seen the light, he said today, "I've got 19,000 miles of crumbling roads and thousands of dilapidated bridges in Texas that need to be fixed, you bet I'm going to vote for the infrastructure bill."

Re: "Slick grift", and they complain about Hunter

What do you bet, kick her off the committee and he loses his job.  A couple of years ago, our republican Congressman was the Chair of some Transportation Committee overseeing some airline industry regulation. The campaign contributions he got from that industry were positively obscene.  And he wasn't even embarrassed when they got exposed.

Re: So tell me, which better, ....

Yeah Had an old guy tell me today today…. a conservative…face to face….over coffee… “They need to look at this as a domestic Marshall plan.”

I’m thinking Ike’s Interstate plan.

Realizing full well, of course,  that for most of you jokers God put the roads, bridges and power grid in place on the 4th, or was it the 5th day.

Abortion isn't about choice.
