I'm an easy no even without knowing any pro's and con's mainly because 50 is to perfect, as I stated before, they can join being part of an existing state if they and that state agree or give em back to Spain.

However you should post a list of pros and cons, is there any benefit for the USofA to making them a state (not just to use PR to gain 2 more winger senators).

But, I can tell you who on here will answer in the positive or negative. The free ice cream crowd will want statehood for DC and Puerto Rico along with packing the SCOTUS.  Like the James and Dalton gang joining forces to rob banks.
