Putin invaded Ukraine in order to make all the Ukrainians speak Russian.  Instead, soon enough all the Russians will be obliged to speak Chinese.

   I thought Xi's stopover in central Asia right after leaving Russia was a nice touch.  I'm sure Xi told them all to ignore Russia in the future, China's the new big dog in Asia now.

  Did you hear that Kazakstan is going to (or already has) repo-ed the Baikonur Cosmodrome for the nonpayment of rent?

.. There is still the chance that if the Russian people come to their senses and dump Putin, they might realize that they need Europe to protect them from their real threat, namely China.
