You see, your (repub party) lack of desire to produce teachers--those that can, do; those who can't, teach--causes your ideology to suffer because teaching is such a degrading profession that your little repubs won't do it. So solly!!
Now back to the original question, did this guy kill anyone or was it is brother? I have not been able to find the answer any where. We might find out when offical charges are filed.

Re: Question about the Boston bombing
And which one of the Tsarnevs murdered MIT police officer Sean Collier?
I think that Martin Richard and Krystle Campbell may both have been at the finish line and that Lu Lingzi may have been a little up the street at the restaurant, but I am not sure. Regardless, both brothers walked together and laid down packs filled with explosives and both are guilty. I don't think a jury or judge would let the younger Tsarnev off even if his backpack didn't kill anyone. Both are murderers and they both worked together.

Update
Looks like Tsarnaev is being charged with one count of conspiring to use of a WMD resulting in death and one count to malicious destruction of property by means of an explosive device resulting in death. He may have also killed his own brother if this report is correct. NO charges yet on killing the MIT officer or other offenses:
snip - "Eventually, Tamerlan Tsarnaev emerged from cover and began walking toward officers, firing as he went, the chief said.
When he ran out of ammunition, officers tackled him and tried to handcuff him, Deveau said Saturday.
But then, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev came barreling at them in the stolen vehicle, the chief said. The officers scrambled out of the way, and the vehicle then ran over the older brother and dragged him for a short distance.

Re: Update
BOSTON — A doctor involved in treating the Boston Marathon bombing suspect who died in a gunbattle with police says he had injuries head to toe and all limbs intact when he arrived at the hospital.
Dr. David Schoenfeld said 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev was unconscious and had so many penetrating wounds when he arrived at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center early Friday that it isn't clear which ones killed him, and a medical examiner will have to determine the cause of death.
Doesn't sound like your report is too accurate.

Re: Update
One never knows considering the state of our reporting these days. I thought surely he was shot up, but then I read that. The story you said makes more sense.

The story of the run over came from the police chief reported by CNN.
