Nox - you do a great job on here. And I thank you for it.
But this group of Trump supporters will never be swayed. Trump, it seems, is a god of some kind to these people. I have never been able to understand the draw of Trump. I apparently don’t have the Trump “gene” that allows me to see through the Trump mystique that his followers see. I just don’t get it.
The man can barely speak. He says the same things over and over and over. He can’t keep on a coherent line of reasoning for more than a few sentences. You hear someone else give a speech now, and it’s like a breath of fresh air. Trump people, can’t, or refuse, to see a difference. I remember being in Oklahoma the day Trump was inaugurated, and having some friends over. They were commenting on “how great” Trumps speech was. I was like “Really?” It was terrible, just like every speech since.
These “disciples” have always thought that he was “one of them”. He does photo ops, sitting behind the wheel of a truck. Isn’t that great! I’d like to see you take him in a hog barn, or sit in a tractor hauling liquid manure out to a field, or walk in a dairy barn in the middle of winter, and get that first blast of ammonia laden humid air that about knocks you off your feet, like I had to do for so many years.
No - Trump is nothing but a con man. Everything he does, he does to simply keep his con going. More and more people are seeing that - and he has gained exactly “zero” supporters to join his team his entire presidency.
Somebody said it on here last week - voters to get rid of Trump will walk through molten glass to get to the polls, to eradicate Trump. That’s the infection that needs to end.
Nox - keep doing what you’re doing. These idiots here, the Trumpers, don’t deserve the insight you bring here daily. The rest of us thank you!
