You could have just said federal retiree.  I know what you mean.  Ryan wants you to give up a little too and you don't want to do that.

Did you read the lists of his voting record.  It isn't just federal retirees and why doesn't he want the rich to give a little more?  Why should people on fixed incomes supply most of the give?

Do you honestly truly believe that the constitution governs 100% of our lives?  I don't think the FF intended it to do that.  I won't comment on the rest of your rant.  If that is what you want to do, by all means do it but don't ridicule and call others names who worked hard and decided to take it easy and live off of their pensions in their last years.  We aren't parasites because we paid hard earned money into those pensions and there is no reason not to partake of them.  If you didn't then you don't deserve any of them anyway.

As long as Harry Reid is in charge in the Senate, nothing Ryan does should cause you much concern.  His legislation efforts will not have a chance of getting through over there.  How much more do you want the rich to give?  How do you define rich?  Those are moving targets and you may find yourself "rich" one day soon in the eyes of a Democratic and liberal America.  How would you feel if the definition of rich suddenly included you even though you are retired?
