Quod meum est? "Where's mine?"

Quod meum est? "Where's mine?"

I think this should replace "In God we Trust" on our currency.  It is clear to me that, this is a more appropriate caption for our dollar bill.  It is clear that God has nothing to do with our government anymore, and is clearly does not apply to the largest amoral group ever to surface in the United States.

This country is not longer a country where the "rule of law" applies equally to all citizens, it only applies to the 99% who are the muppets that exist solely to do the dying, and suffer the exploitation of the 1% in this country.

We know from past events that . . . Quod meum est? "Where's mine?" . . . is the motto of the top 1% but it appears that the muppets have also been infected with that mentality and have also come to believe that the government owes them something other then providing for the defense of this country.

Well . . . we have created a society of . . . Quod meum est? "Where's mine?" . . . junkies, who need to get their monthly or annual fix from Big Brother to keep them from again burning down Detroit or Los Angeles.

The foundations of America are now crumbling because of the "unequal opportunity" created by our government.  Want a government  job . . . no problem . . . just make sure your skin is the right color and you are a member of the (cough, cough) minority group now in vogue.  If you reside in a foreign country that was a party to killing American's you get moved to the top of the list.

American's have now become so complacent that they actually believe they are living the American Dream if they have a "job", a "McMansion with a mortgage on it"

guaranteed by Big Brother, and a zero interest rate for a new horseless carriage.

I wonder how many of our ancestors even thought about working for someone else, I think they wanted to work for themselves and assumed the risks to make that happen.

As long as Big Brother continues to provide the Home Mortgage Interest Deduction and the Real Estate Taxes as a deduction on the "voluntary income tax forms" muppets are required to file, they believe this puffing by our government and realtors that this deduction is enough to justify them to take on 100% leveraged debt to buy "the largest investment" they will ever make in their lifetime.

Then there is the Child Tax Credit, which justifies bringing little Johnny into this world, with or without a family unit.   I mean . . . you get the free medicaid, the free dental, and the monthly support payment for every little Johnny you can pump out.

Then there is the free public education K-12 which is paid for by owners of property. Even if citizens derive no benefit from those public schools.

Then we are asked to  pony up the money to build the prisons to incarcerate those who choose to violate laws, and prey upon citizens to fulfill their needs and ensure their survival.

Because the poor home environment from which they come that environment  was not suitable to provide them their fair shot at the brass ring (which is a joke) in America.

If equal opportunity really existed in America it would enable them to pull themselves up from the sad economic circumstances they find themselves in, just like our ancestors did. But . . .  due to Morons breeding and not forming family units we have created not a land of opportunity, but a land of feeders at the government trough.

Lets go back in American History, why did our ancestors come here?  Was it for the . . . Quod meum est? "Where's mine?" . . . mind set, or was it for freedom to succeed or fail on their own?

How did all of our ancestors survive, flourish, or fail in this country without Big Brother controlling their daily lives? I wonder how many pioneers who opened up the Country  West of the Ohio River ever asked for a government subsidy or paycheck?

What ever happened to that "risk taking gene" and the "take responsibility for my life gene" that drove them to undertake an adventure without any micro management of those who "knew Jack" that hid out on the East coast of this country before and after  the Revolution.  Why is it little Johnny has been denied the opportunity to assume risk and either succeed or fail.  I think it lies with the brain dead muppets who have decided that other things are more important than education.  I mean . . . having a football program at a school is more important than having a language lab.

It is clear to me that . . . Quod meum est? "Where's mine?". . . has now consumed our country, and has put us on the fast train to oblivion.  Sometimes one has to look at Marxism, Communism, Socialism, and Capitalism and any other "isms"you can think of under a microscope.   All have their benefits and cater to a specific population that has adopted requisite values to adopt these "isms".

I think America is no longer a Capitalist society (except for the top 1%) since we no longer have "risk takers", and we have faded from staunch individualism and self reliance to a population that believes government will save them, protect them, and care for them, and feed them.  Isn't that what we do for cattle?

In my mind . . . I have just described "slavery" and "communism". A dumbed down society who lets government abuse them and think for them and lack original thoughts is exactly what Communism requires.

We already have in power the Polit Bureau in Washington, and the "party" runs the show.   It is no longer a two party government because both have the same objective and derive economic benefit from their actions.

Those in power provide a few rudimentary privileges to the "muppets aka slaves" and encourages them to freely enter and achieve "indentured servitude status" through becoming debt slaves which binds them to the Banks and Government that exploits them.

Soooooo . . . welcome to the. . .  Quod meum est? "Where's mine?" banana republic aka the land of exploitation of the many by the few.   Adios Amigos. John

I wonder why my grandaughter, a single mom, isn't flourishing under those circumstances.

If she isn't getting by, why aren't you helping her out more?

Your gradaughter's situation is an accepted norm in todays society, there is no longer a scarlet letter branded on anyone bearing children out of wedlock . . . the 50's are dead.  I mean . . . ever since women decided they were independent and did not need a male figure in their lives . . .  having a child without a spouse is probably more prevalent than married hetrosexual couples having children today.

It is the child that is the victim here if that child is not cared for, educated, and allowed to be on equal footing with others their age.   I mean . . . ever since a career has beoome more important to women than raising and caring for children they bring into this world things have been going down hill.   Women consider divorce normal after four or five years, to hell with the family unit, or better yet . .  . why get married at all social services will pick me up when I fall down.

Of course, material possessions have taken priority of children, in that with a new McMansion, a new leased vehicle sitting in the driveway, and eating out instead of cooking at home. kinda just turned children into a novalty, to be shoved off into day care centers, public schools, and colleges while mommy and daddy worked to pay off the new Lexus, the new larger McMansion.

We bacame a society where kids became third or fourth on the deal team, because their value deminished, because mommy and daddy wanted to "appear successful", than wanted to be good parents.   That is why we have morons graduating from school who cannot read or write.

But . . . they are experts at . . . tweeting . . . being on facebook . . . indeed we have created a group of "well rounded individuals" . . . only one thing is missing . . . they don;t know jack, about the real world or have any idea what they want to spend their lives doing.   Adios Amigo. The child was not born out of wedlock and his father is not fond of work.

There`s no doubt about it, there are knuckle-draggers out there and they have figured out to vote.  But, schools that I`ve visited I`m amazed at how decent many of the kids are, I think there are a great many parents are doing something right.  We just have to go through a generation (20yrs or so) of tough times to purge out the freeloaders and get that 50% that won`t carry their weight to see firsthand the consequences of their debauchery.  Or maybe the anti-christ will appear and it`ll be a no consequences, free for all.  Smiley Happy

I thought there was no such thing as a person who would shirk responsibility and not work when they could?

Re: Quod meum est? "Where's mine?"

Pretty good rant, Faust, but I do feel the need to point out that while you usually cover everything under the sun you almost always skip over the huge government sponsorship of agriculture by saying that is was just "cheap food policy" and presumably that the current windfall is just what was just due after decades of that onerous treatment.

Everybody else just has a hand out.

One of the attributes that I've noted in people who have survived in farming and other tough small businesses is the capacity to never have to question whose side they are on or justify themselves.

Which is just what it is, for better or worse but (in persons that I'm acquainted with) does tend to make for tedious conversation.

Just an observation.

Looks like this could turn into yet another learning moment for the donkey.
