There was a Monte Python sketch from years ago that involved a 60 Minutes like sit down interview with a world renowned economist. The guest economist was seen smoking a cigarette, had a cup of coffee on the table next to him, exchanging pleasantries with the reporter, and was dressed in full make-up like Bozo the Clown.

If you closed your eyes or were blind, all you heard was a conversation about Keynesian monetary policy and its effect on British unemployment. The gag, however, was that Bozo the Clown was on set and presuming to offer some learned, academic insight into a rather serious issue at the time.
